How the license works

You only pay for the people who run quizzes.

  • One license per host. One year at a time, for the person who creates and hosts quizzes.
  • The admin assigns them. Licenses are assigned and taken back under Organization, and move to a colleague when someone leaves.
  • Participants don't need one. They play in the app or in the browser on their phone or computer, with no account.
  • Colleagues who help don't need one. Co-writing or commenting needs no license.

    Without a license, eight teams/players are free, and an Event Pass gives you 100.

    Your organization's logo, color and font on the big screen and on participants' phones. No Event Pass needed.

  • Training at your own pace

    Participants take the quiz when it suits them, you see each person's results, and several quizzes make a course with a certificate.

  • Your learning platform and work accounts

    Works with Moodle and other learning platforms (LTI 1.3, SCORM), SSO and SCIM.

  • Slack and Microsoft Teams

    The weekly quiz in the channel, reminders for anyone who hasn't finished and the summary afterwards.

FAQ

Who needs a license?

Everyone who creates and runs quizzes. Participants and colleagues who only comment don't need one.

Who assigns the licenses?

The admin in your organization. Licenses are assigned and taken back under Organization, and a license can move to a colleague.

Can we buy more licenses during the year?

Yes. New ones run for the rest of the year and you only pay for that time. You can reduce the number when the licenses renew.

Do the licenses renew automatically?

No. The admin can renew them for a year at a time during the last 60 days. If nobody does, they stop at the end of the year.

Do participants need an account?

No. They play in the app or in the browser, with no account.

How many teams can take part without a license?

Eight teams/players are always free, and an Event Pass gives you 100. The license gives you up to 500 teams/players.

Can the quiz carry our brand?

Yes, completely. With an Event Pass or the license, your logo, colors and font appear on the screen, on phones and on the results page, and you can turn off the Created with oQuiz line.
